splitflats - cut images into equal-sized tiles (Doom flat splitter)
USAGE
splitflats -size WxH
splitflats --help | -help | -h | /?
OPTIONS
-size WxH Tile size in pixels (default 64x64), e.g. -size 64x64, -size 128x128
-help Show this help
BEHAVIOUR
Processes every image in the current folder
(png, jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, tif, tiff, webp).
Tiles are numbered left-to-right, top-to-bottom, starting at 1,
and written to .\split\ as <basename><n>.<ext>
VALIDATION (all files checked before anything is written)
- Image width/height must divide evenly by the tile size
- Every output name (basename + tile number) must be exactly 8 chars
Numbering starts at 1, so in practice the basename must be 7 chars
and the image must produce at most 9 tiles
e.g. FLOOR01 -> FLOOR011 .. FLOOR019
If any file fails, nothing is processed.
EXAMPLES
splitflats -size 64x64
splitflats -size 32x32

This is a UDB Script to place the flats into your map
to create a mozaic patter of the cut up image on the
floor or cieling.
